2 Day Pop-Up Market at LAB
Each business will have the opportunity to sell at one of our Collective Markets.
The Spring Market will be on April 26th & 27th and The Fall Market on November 15th & 16th. You will have an 8ft x 8ft designated space to sell your goods at one of the 2-day pop-up markets at LAB in Loring Park.
Social & Blog Promotion
We will create year-round content promoting Collective Members to tell your story.
This includes:
+ One dedicated feed post on the LAB Instagram page highlighting solely your business in 2024 - this could be an in-studio reel, product roundup of your items, “Meet the Maker” feature, or anything you have in mind!
+ Inclusion of your products in two of our quarterly gift guides throughout the year, featured on our blog, email and Instagram
+ Inclusion in ‘Friday Faves’ by tagging and resharing your content in weekly stories on the LAB Instagram account, recapping the happenings in The Collective community
+ Ongoing paid digital ad campaign promoting The Collective Directory
+ Dedicated IG Stories Highlight that promotes The Collective, plus a link in bio for easy access to the directory & market details
+ Branded social story + feed post designs that you can customize and re-share to promote your participation in The Collective
Website Promotion
A dedicated web page for The Collective and Member Directory connects your business to an engaged audience who loves discovering local brands.
The Collective web page features blog content, event information, and a full lineup of The Collective members.
Print Promotion
Each business in The Collective will be featured in our biannual Collective Newspaper.
The Collective Newspaper highlights our members alongside a host of other unique local stories. Our Spring and Fall issues are launched at each Collective Market and distributed to over 30 locations around the Twin Cities.

For each market, applications will undergo a selection process to ensure the curation of unique, quality products from a diverse group of Minnesota businesses.

You will receive an email notification that you can sign up to be a member, and will also include an area to pay your fee online with a credit card and also setup auto pay for additional payments.
FOR MARKET MEMBERS: A 1 time fee of $995 (includes a $115 discount if you pay in full). Or 6 payments over 6 months, starting in February at $185 each month, a total of $1110. For both markets - a 1 time fee of $1300 (includes a $100 discount if you pay in full). Or 6 payments over 6 months, starting in February at $233.33 each month, a total of $1400.
FOR SOCIAL MEMBERS: One time payment of $700, or you can pay over 2 months at $350 each due in February & March.You will be able to select which payment option is best for you. The first payment is due up front in order to secure your spot and officially start promoting your business.

Yes! If you are not able to participate in the markets, a social membership is a great option. With ongoing promotion, connection to your community, and discounts on branding and space rentals, the membership is an investment in your business and yourself.

Each application is reviewed with our mission and other members in mind to curate a unique set of businesses that offer a variety of products and services. We are building a membership base of creative, design-forward local businesses that are active participants in our community and ready to support one another. Emphasis is given to BIPOC and women-owned businesses, as well as brands that align with our mission.

Yes! Nonprofit organizations receive a 15% discount on our memberships. Please provide your 501(c)(3) when applying.

In order to create two uniquely curated markets, our team will assign each member to their market. We will inform you of which market you will be exhibiting at when you are admitted.

While our goal is to have unique markets, we will have a limited number of spots for members who would like to attend both markets. For these select participants, the cost will be $1300 for the year.

Not at the moment! We are developing a community of ongoing support, promotion, collaboration, and support for local businesses. The feedback we’ve received emphasizes the need for ongoing awareness, and not just selling in real life.
